I am an Uber/Lyft driver with over 10,000 trips. When pandemic came in 2020, I have to stay in home for several month, but we have to work for survival, stimulus check only works a few months. Driver is one of the most dangerous job those days, 1）it may bring back all kind of pandemic disease to family. looks like this pandemic variants may last for years. 2）Attacked from back--we have to deal all kind of riders. (recently a strong man stabbed to dead by teen girls). I don't want to take a chance, So first I bought a hard plastic shield over $125. It is ok to guard  sneeze from rear seat  and feel more safety from rope, knife threat on my back.

Since then I keep driving during co-vid 19 with confidence and my family no more worry now. Since pandemic variant (delta, delta plus, lamda...) keep coming to US and more other pandemic virus keep coming in future even deadly flu also, this battle may last much longer than we thought even with updated vaccine. Driver really don’t control if the passengers they just picked up from airport are from pandemic country and area or not. Also the rabies is more danger than we thought. One of driver deactivated because the rider complained he refused to carry her big dog.  I think now more drivers need protection. So I designed this isolation partition package (patent pending) with following features:

1.   Using  PET plate materials which are environment friendly and safer. Because PVC will release harmful chlorine under high temperature, that is not good in a small isolated space. 

2.   Clear vision, easy to install and take it off, no modifications to the vehicle, fit all kind of car and SUVs.

3.   Hard shield plate Better Protect driver safety from knife, rope and dog attack from back seat. It is not designed for bullet proof, so 1 mm thickness should be enough, but if you want it stronger, have option to 2 mm thickness, but also double the cost. listed here is 2 mm thickness

4.   All sanitizer spray safe. Care: Clean using non-abrasive soft cloths, mild soap and warm water

5.   Plate come with protective clear cover on both side, need to be peeled off before installation

6. Someone may think 1 mm is too thin, but they are very solid, mine used for 5 years, still like the new one. for keeping the shipping cost low, we added two fold line cut for easy folding, don't worry, after tied it up for several days, it will be flat and strong holding.
